Volunteers needed for the
2008 Rocky Mountain Balloon Festival

Chatfield State Park, Denver, Colorado
The Rocky Mountain Balloon Festival is looking for volunteers to assist with this year’s event. Come join in the thrill and excitement of hot air ballooning! Last year, nearly 75 balloons filled the skies! Be a part of the 9th Annual festival and create a memory of a lifetime! A variety of positions are available, including:
· Balloon Crew - Help set up, inflate and launch the balloon. Assist in chasing the balloon in a chase vehicle. Help deflate and pack the balloon up. Requires some lifting and you will need to wear solid shoes and bring your own gloves.
· Event Assistant - Work with Festival Staff on various activities within the workings of the event including festival setup and tear down, distributing event flyers and greeting event attendees.
Volunteers will receive snacks, beverages and a small gift of appreciation.
We offer community service hours and welcome the help of community and youth groups.

Park
entrance fee is $7.00 - use your
annual park pass or purchase tickets at the gate or in advance at metro area
